Title Level Hold

Evergreen v.2.2

A Title Level Hold is a hold request placed at on all items associated with one bibliographic record.

For example, there are five bibliographic records for different formats of Kathryn Stockett's The Help - regular print, largeprint, audiobook, downloadable audiobook, and a book discussion kit. There are 39 individual copies associated with the regular print bibliographic record. A Title Level Hold placed on that record could be filled from any of those 39 copies. Title Level Holds are the most efficient way to fill holds.

Title Level is the only type of hold that patron can place using the OnlinePublicAccessCatalog. Staff, using the StaffClient PlaceHold procedure can place VolumeLevelHold and CopyLevelHold.
