Set Email Notification



Set Email Notification will turn on email notices when a patron's holds have been made ready for pickup. The patron must have an email address already saved in their patron account Contact Information? . If the patron does not have an email in their record, add it, then update holds.


  1. Retrieve the Patron Account

  2. Click Holds

  3. Select the hold to update
    • To select all holds, click on the first record, press and hold the Shift key, click the last record

  4. Right click or click on Actions for Selected Holds

  5. Select Set Email Notification

  6. A "Set Email Notifications for Holds" pop up opens

  7. If you are turning on email notices click Email

  8. If you are turning off email notices click No Email

  9. A "Modifying Holds" pop up opens, click Yes
